Ben Bruggen

Ben Bruggen is a GIS Analyst and Instructor at WarthogIS with over 3 years of GIS experience. His achievements as a student, researcher, trainer, and professional GIS Analyst have led to his involvement in a number of both locally and globally recognized projects.


As an undergraduate at Western Washington University, he conducted research and produced maps for scientific journals, completed natural hazard assessments for local communities, and assisted in campus mapping projects.


Over the last 2 years at WarthogIS, he has utilized his innovative cartographic style and proficiency in spatial analysis to provide its clients with high-quality, informative, and impactful solutions to a wide range of issues.




As a valued member of a like-minded team, he is inspired by the opportunity to both share knowledge and acquire knowledge in familiar and new applications.


Ben holds a BA in Environmental Studies and earned his GIS Certificate from Western Washington University in 2022.


Outside of work, he enjoys biking, hiking, skiing, climbing, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest he calls home.
